Monday 4/22 (B day) - RESISTANCE
- Warm Up + Form Drills
- 4-6 x 200m @ 80% [32-40 sec]+ stadium stairs up twice @ 100% (walk 200m)
- Cool Down + Core and upper body weights
- YES, THERE WILL BE REGULAR PRACTICE AT 2:30 PM !!!!!
- 2 lap warm up, stretching, and hurdle mobility
- 1 mile of jog curves, tempo straightaway
- 2 lap cool down, core
- Specialization practice
- Bus leaves at 2:15PM
- First event starts at 3:30PM. You sign up for your own event on stickers provided by Coach Alexanderson
- Some exceptions for athletes who will compete on Friday at the Box Elder Invitational
- GOOD WARM UP
- Form drills: (100% speed) high knees, butt kicks, fence high knees, fence foot claws, and quick arms
- 5 x 100m accelerations, last 20m @ 90-95%, walk back recovery
- Specialization practice: block starts, hurdles, jumping
- Bus leaves at 12:45 PM. Competitors will be excused 10 minutes early from 3B.
- TRACK CLASS KIDS ARE NOT EXCUSED FROM 4B (only exception is those who are competing)
- Athletes who are not racing still need to exercise. Workout will be posted here.
